This problem is related to a bug. I had to deal with a similar situation three months back. I had sought the help of a friend of mine who is a spin expert. He told me that it was a bug and he was able to fix it for me. Anyway it is reassuring to note that the new version is free of such problems.
I am happy to point out that I have been using ispin over the last two years and that I am very happy with its performance. It has got a variety of features. The most important advantage is that it gives you the feeling of multi-tasking environment. It also offers DIA support.
I had exactly the same issue with ispin some time ago. I am happy to note that the problem has been solved. But it is mentioned here that the source distribution still contains the old version of ispin. So in every probability this problem will recur. Anyway it is reassuring to note that the administrator will be taking care of it.
